Those with a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) can benefit from the low fee Health Savings Account the Credit Union offers. A Health Savings Account (HSA) is a U.S.-government-sponsored account that individuals can establish to make tax-deductible contributions, earn tax-free dividends on contributions, and withdraw money tax-free for qualified medical expenses. The standard limit on the HSA card for an ATM withdrawal is $250 daily. The standard limit on the HSA card for a POS transaction is $1,000 daily. If you need a higher limit or a temporary increase for a bill, please contact the credit union. We will be happy to assist you.
To qualify for a HSA, first, the individual or family must have a High Deductible Health Plan (For 2023 a HDHP is $1,500 deductible for individuals; $3,000 for family) - other restrictions apply.

YOU MUST CONTACT THE CREDIT UNION AT 937-228-1614 TO ORDER A NEW CARD. TO CHANGE YOUR PIN, YOU CAN CONTACT THE CREDIT UNION OR CALL PIN NOW AT 1-866-985-2273. (TO CHANGE YOUR PIN WE MUST MATCH THE PHONE NUMBER ON FILE TO THE ONE YOU PROVIDE US.)

To activate a new HSA chip card, simply call us at 937-228-1614 and we can activate your HSA over the phone. Please have your HSA chip card with you when you call. You may also activate a new HSA chip card by taking it to an ATM and putting in the PIN number you set the card up with, and inquire what your checking account balance is. You must choose checking for the balance account inquiry when activating your HSA at an ATM. When using the new chip cards make sure to leave the card in the chip holder until it prompts you to remove it. Also if the reader has a chip option, you must place the chip card in the reader. If there is no chip reader option, you can swipe the card. If you are using the HSA chip card in an ATM, insert your HSA chip card in the terminal and follow the instructions on the screen. For lost or stolen HSA debit cards, members should contact MasterCard immediately at 888-908-7835. When you call to report the card lost or stolen, the ONLY way to get a new HSA debit card or HSA Authorized user debit card issued is to contact the credit union. All paperwork that needs to be signed for potential fraud or a new card, will only be sent to you by contacting the credit union at 937-228-1614.
