The Firefighters & Company Federal Credit Union is here to help you through these challenging times. As we try to navigate COVID-19 and determine the safest way to serve you, the members, we wanted to keep you updated on the credit union operations. Our priority is the safety of our members and employees. Your credit union is financially sound, federally insured and able to serve your financial needs. We will continue to make sure you have access to your money. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as some of our operations have been temporarily limited due to the pandemic.

We started a remodel on the existing branch downtown at 338 South Patterson Blvd., at the end of February. The plans to remodel the branch have been in the works for well over a year. As soon as we got started on the remodel (which will increase office space for privacy and update our lobby), the pandemic was here. Once we decided, for the safety of our membership and staff, to close our lobby, we went forward with the lobby renovation to try to minimize any disruption for our in-branch members once it was safe to reopen.

We want to open our lobby back up to our members, but at this time, we do not feel it's safe to do so due to both COVID-19 and the remodel. We anticipate having our lobby reopen soon. Once we are able to reopen, we'll adhere to all guidelines including capacity in the branch and social distancing.

We will continue to serve our members as we have for the past few months as follows.

Until further notice:

  • Downtown Branch - 338 South Patterson Blvd. Dayton, OH 45402
    • We have drive thru services only. Sorry, we cannot perform shared branching transactions at this time. We are open 10am to 6pm. Our lobby is still closed.
  • St. Helen Branch - This office is closed permanently. The parish notified us they need the branch space for their school.
  • Monarch Branch - 170 Monarch Lane Miamisburg, OH 45342
    • This branch is limited to window transactions only. The office will not have member access. This branch may have limited entry to non Avery Dennison employees and is closed when the plant is closed. If the plant is shut down due to COVID-19, this office will be closed.

Please remember we have several options to access your accounts electronically and by telephone. Call us if you need help setting up your account. 

  • Online Banking/Mobile Banking - You can check balances, transfer money, etc. If you are not set up, you can enroll online.
  • Remote Deposit Capture - Once you have contacted the credit union for this service and been set up, you can deposit your checks by phone into your checking account through our mobile banking app.
  • ATM/Debit Card Access - Use your debit card or ATM to access your accounts at merchants or through the ATM.
  • Telephone Access - Call the branch at 937-228-1614.
  • Home Audio Link (H.A.L) - Call 800-285-2947 to hear your balances, transfer money, etc. To set up H.A.L., use your account number and the last 4 digits of your social security number as your PIN. You will then be prompted to change your PIN.
  • Loan applications online - You can apply online at or call us at the credit union at 937-228-1614 to take an app over the phone. We can close loans electronically with electronic signature.

Please contact us if you are having trouble making your loan payments, even if we previously granted assistance. We are here to help as many members as possible with their loan payments. Even though this pandemic has lasted longer than we originally hoped for, we commit to continue offering you help. If you need assistance, please send us a written request.

We know many of our members are eagerly anticipating help from the federal government stimulus that is due to arrive in your account within the next few weeks. Many of our members will receive their stimulus checks via direct deposit if they set up past refunds with the IRS for direct deposit. Once the IRS has a site to verify your direct deposit info (coming soon according to the IRS), please make sure to double-check with us to verify your Firefighters & Company Federal Credit Union account number needed for the stimulus check. When you receive your stimulus money, the best advice on what to do with it will depend on your individual situation. If you need the money to make ends meet to pay rent/mortgage, utilities, food, etc, you should use it for those immediate needs. Remember you can ask for assistance from your mortgage companies, landlords, etc if you need to. The credit union is offering extensions on credit union loans to help our members and other companies are providing assistance with bills, etc. Reach out and ask for help if you need it.

If you don't have an immediate need for your stimulus check, try to save it to start or add to an emergency fund. The credit union can help you set up a separate account to save the money. In times like these, an emergency savings can be a life saver. If you need help setting up an emergency savings account, please contact us.

We have many ways to access your stimulus money remotely. If you have an ATM card, you can withdraw cash at an ATM (Usually ATMs have limits on the amount of cash you can withdraw at one time). You can use your debit card to access your money to pay your bills or you can write a check for your mortgage, rent, etc. You can transfer the money to your savings, etc through online banking. You can withdraw the money at the credit union, but because we have drive thru services only, please consider other options to access your stimulus funds. If you need to apply for a Master Money ATM/Debit card, please fill out an app online, print, sign and email it to us or call the credit union and we can send the app to you to sign electronically.
